Highlighting Culture. Championing Social Justice Initiatives.

The Dream City Initiative is an organization focused on advocacy, outreach to underserved communities, young adult engagement and promoting the ideals of democracy and equality. By providing programs and resources to economically disadvantaged communities, it is our goal to empower individuals to be a catalyst for change within their own lives and communities. Through programming such as our Young Leaders Program we provide leadership training and mentorship to young adults between 18-35.

The Dream City Initiative lives out its mission by providing programming to connect disadvantaged communities to resources. It is our goal to empower all who go through our programs to be change agents in their personal lives and in their communities. The intended impact of this works looks like those individuals who we helped to connect to resources and/or provided leadership development, advocacy training and mentorship to will be able to be ambassadors in their families and communities of the values of democratic leadership, equality, examples of engaged/civically involved citizens and individuals committed to inclusion and social justice.

The strategy we use to carry out this work is by one providing leadership development, mentorship and advocacy training to young people 18-35. This demographic is strategically positioned to connect us to other age groups while also allowing us to mold and mature with these young people as they grow. This demographic is also tied to every issue area that exists because they are connected to the seniors in their communities, the middle aged and young children. By staying connected to them we believe we are influencing the current political climate and developing the next leaders for our country and our world.

We are firm believers in fighting for the Dream City that every person should live in. This is the Dream City that gives every person the resources and opportunities to live prosperous lives and contribute to our society. We are committed to this work and know that as we build confident, informed, emotionally intelligent individuals who are critical thinkers and compassionate people we are building the cities, the states and nations of a great society.
